I am so glad that the Turkey Day Game has been revived!!!! I left Sacramento for Cal after graduating from McClatchy in 1961. Laguna Beach has been home for my adult years, those years when I lost track of what was happening in Sacramento. I had no idea until a few years ago that the annual Thanksgiving football game, always so much anticipated, was history!
Now my daughter & family have settled in Sacramento and I return frequently! I will be in town on the 10th this year but I'll be caring for my under 3 grandsons...... unable to commit to the fun of attending the revival.
I know that it will be a success & hope that it becomes an annual event again!!
