Grrrrah Lions, It’s time for you people to resurface. The date is November 10th, the time 12 noon and the place HUGHES STADIUM. That’s right, the Mighty Lions are going to have some dragon meat that day and you will be there! Why are you so lucky, you say? Because some stalwart LION volunteers are contacting all former LIONS so they can show the kids what a full stadium looks like (there were 22 people at one of McClatchy’s games last year). Yes, it’s time for these kids to have a little glory. Besides, because you people are going to buy these precious tickets for $25 each the McClatchy Athletic Program is going to take a giant leap forward. Do you have to pay $25 dollars each for the ducats? No, you might be able to wait until game time and get in for $6.00. But I doubt it because we intend to sell the game out. Besides, what’s the big deal, you buy four tickets and feel good about yourself – admit it you spend that much on a first class dinner. All you have to do is call one of the contacts listed on the home page or click the Tickets link above. But most importantly SHOW UP AT THE GAME. Or, if you aren’t going to SHOW UP AT THE GAME, make sure that you give the tickets to some people who will. "Or if you aren't going to SHOW UP AT THE GAME, make sure that you tell us and we will get your tickets to people who otherwise might not be able to attend." Can you even imagine what it would be like for those players and school kids to walk into a full, ROARING stadium? THEY WOULD NEVER FORGET IT. And they would never forget that a lot of good, decent, first class, adults thought enough of them to make it happen. Grrrrah Lions
